2014 – France & Spain

Created in 2014 by 3 alumni from Centrale Paris school, Privateaser is an online marketplace that allows users to find and book the right place for any kind of events.

In 2020, identifying an untackled need from venue managers, they started to offer a digital assistant (SaaS) that supports bar and restaurant managers in boosting their revenues from group bookings.

At Privateaser, we see the same ingredients that contributed to the success of La Fourchette (a company that we invested in before its acquisition by Tripadvisor in 2014): a large, unconquered market, and a team capable of setting and delivering on ambitious goals. We also appreciated their almost obsessive focus on product and process, which is key in the field of event management, where the temptation to customize can be very strong, to the detriment of scalability and client experience.
